Hello modern life, today I’m going to talk about of gender and  possibly the end of the gender patterns. First, listening to Johanna Blakey, the center idea I feature is that the women, actually outnumber men in their use of social networking technologies and because them driving the social media revolution, that media companies are going to hire a lot more women and the responsibility of change the “cliché” and the stereotype falls on it.

Well, I disagree a few therewith, because I think that exist other important factor related with the gender domination, stupid stereotype and so on, they are not considered a part of the consumption patterns. Because the gender domination it goes beyond that the product that like to women, the product that like to men , if not, in the mode of relating interpersonally men  with men, men with women, where I don’t  assume determined way of being, dress or whatever, and conversely, the women should not expect determined way of being men, beacause, that reproduce the stereotypes and gender roles.

And with regard the women and politcs, i think is a small breakthrough have women presidents but, the important to end the domination male, stereotype, gender roles is that the men forming part fully of the grievances feminists and stop thinking that feminists is synonymous of angry women.

Hi modern life, today i’m going to talk about how i use Facebook. Well, first i would like to say, i don’t like Facebook. I use it, but i really don’t like Facebook, because unconsciously i lose a lot of time and I prefer talk to my friend in person. But I acknowledge that is useful to plain meet with my friend, and talk to my  friends that live faraway.

The kind of relationship i have in Facebook, is the same that the relationship in the real world, but i can’t really really talk with then, or is very difficult, because almost never have much time, or several friend talk me at the same time, or simply for the fact to chat instead of talk.

The positive is that is cheap talk with the distant friends, but is not the same. And the negative, is that with some relationships i feel that deteriorate because only supports is Facebook.

Sadly, practically i use everyday, because also is useful for information for university, reported classes suspended, texts for the test or anything related with the university.

Finally, i don’t like what read other people, i dont’ know how, but i don’t like it, with the photos, really i don’t care, but when i know that the picture uploading in Facebook are property of Facebook, I stopped.

The ultimate, there is one thing that i like so much of Facebook, that is the competition, i love it.

Life on Mars

Hi modern life, today I’m going to talk about environment, a current theme  because the climate change is irrefutable,  the ice melting, that don’t rain in winter and rain in spring or summer, practically exist only two season, winter and summer, and so on.

But, I think the recent environment is minimum, a few percent of the population to practiced and a few group of the population can practice the environment, because “be ecologist” is very expensive, the product ecologist is so expensive that nobody can buy or the system ecologic for home like solar panel or anything ecologist is expensive.

It’ is true that one be ecologist in the little thing, one can make little things that "make the different" like recycled the bottles, milk box, plastic, separated the product organic, use ecologic bag or whatever, but is very very difficult in Chile. Hardly any trash can in the city; less trash can for glass, plastic, organic product separate. And recently exist politics environment.

I don’t know where the people learn about environmentally friendly practices, maybe for friends, maybe for the T.V, maybe in some school. But this last point I think is central for incorporated recycling into the habits of the people, should teach environment in all school from an early age better.

And, yes, I use bike because I like some much as walk, and I go to the university or other place in bike o walk, because I have the privilege of living close like my university and close the other place, and I have never joined a eco-organisations, because I'm not interested, but i reduce my “carbon footprint” with ampoules-ecologist, use bike, and always closing the “wáter”.

Finally i belive that Santiago should have more and good “ciclovias” and politics environment serious.
