Hi modern life, today I can choose topic again and today I write about a topic that I like very much and is very important for me, the poetry and specific about my favorite poet Rodrigo Lira. I really don’t remember when start to read poetry but the first poet that read was Rodrigo Lira, specifically the poem “Ars Poétique”. Really good poem, in this Rodrigo Lira write about dictatorship, poetry, art, make intertextuality whit Vicente Huidobro and more! Whatever is a excellent poem. 

Rodrigo Lira was born in 26 of December of 1949 and dies the 26 December of 1981, in Chile. Unfortunately he’s kill yourself in your house. He was suffer a lot in your life besides he endure bipolarity, this mean sometimes he is depressed, sometimes he is maniac, sometimes he is madness. This reflected perfectly in your poetry. The poem “Testimonio de circunstancia” show the angst of Lira or in the meta-poems when is very very very obsessive whit the language you can see the condition maniac of Rodrigo Lira. 

A freak information, the house when Rodrigo Lira lived and died is the red building in Grecia whit Salvador, Ñuñoa.

To conclude, Modern life I recommend a lot read a Rodrigo Lira, because he is a very very good poet. Long live a Lira!

One picture!

Hi modern life!

Today I write about one picture to like me. This picture I see last year in the gallery of World Press Photo in the “Edificio telefónica”. Christian Ziegler took this picture in the Black Mountain Road, Australia. He is a German photojournalist specializing in natural history and science-related topics contributor to National Geographic magazine.

In this picture show southern cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) feeds on the fruit of the blue quandong tree in the forest. Was taken in the 2012 and won the first place in the Photography Contest           organized by World Press Photo in the category “Nature”.

I like very much this picture because the other picture of the gallery is very shocking (beacause show dead children, murder and so on. They are beautiful, but shocking) then this picture is very serene and beautiful. Also the bird of the picture reminded me a Kevin, the bird of the picture UP.

Free topic!

Hi modern life

Today I choose the topic  and I going to write about the music I listening in the last time.  I listening a lot post-punk again, this genre I know when I have sixteen and one friend said to me “Guille you most listen Joy Division and New Orden! ” great friend, greats bands.  Years later, other friend introduced me to the band Motorama. They are a band of post-punk from Rostov-on-Don, Russia. They have released their debut album (Alps) in May 2010. Although they are Russian, the vocalist sings in English, whit a lot of accent. Well I love this band I don’t know why but I like a lot. Maybe for the melody’s and rhythm are easy and nice. They never play in Chile but the last February  they make a concert in Peru and will play in Mexico in the Vive Latino 2014. Shame for me :(

Technological technological technological technological

Hello modern life. Today i will write about my favorite objetc  technological. My  favorite object  without a doubt is the MP3 or similar (MP4, Ipod, Iphone 3, Iphone 1000 and so on and so on).  The mp3  is a little appliance for listening music where you want. I have a pink mp3 of 4 gb of memory bought in the Jumbo close of my university.  Is very easy to use, first i should connect to my computer, add my favorite song, (usually i add complete albums), wait for recharge battery,  then disconnect, put headphone turn on  and the mp3 is ready for give you hourse of you best music. I alwais use my mp3, everytime, when i go to the university or buy bread, i use for sleep, etcetera.  I like very much my mp3 because is very pleasant listening music for the life.  Lasty, the life whitout mp3 be would very boring but exist the radio or we should come back to discman.

Expectations for a new semester.

Hi modern life, today i speak about my expectation for this semester 2014. I think this year it’s not very very difficult like will next semester. In this term I have only six subjects; Theory sociologic I, Technics quantitative I, Statistics II, Economy I, English III and Study of representation. The most difficult course this term is Theory sociologic I, because I have a read so much. A lot! Seriously…
But the text I have read I like and they are very interesting.

My   extracurricular subject is Study of representation, this subject is dictation in ICEI and is part of the cinema career. I take this class because I can’t take my CFG on time, then I prefer choose a course to my taste. Well I love the cinema and interest a lot is why I take this course. 

On other hand, I participate in the cinema club of university, but this semester I have leave because I have my class of English almost same time.

Lastly I hope exempt of all my courses, education free and become the socialism.
